The case
Saint-Aubin-sur-Loire, September 2019. Laurent Vernier, a business owner the whole town looks up to, celebrates his 50th birthday at the Domaine des Ormes. The next morning, the gardener finds his business partner, Philippe Delmas, dead in the pool house. Laurent has vanished. During the night, his family received a strange e-mail: he is leaving on a mission he cannot talk about.
A wife preparing her divorce, a brother drowning in debt, a mistress dumped that very night, a journalist investigating in secret, an accountant who is a little too discreet... Everyone plays a suspect, hides their secrets, and hunts for the truth.
The case file looks like the real thing: witness statements, a bank statement, CCTV stills from the station, a court order to an internet provider, party photos and two voicemails to play with a QR code.

6 to 12. Six roles are essential, the other six are added depending on your number of guests. Above 12, two guests can share a character as a pair.
+How long does it take to prepare?
About 30 minutes: send the invitations a week before, print, then slip the files and clues into envelopes.
+Are there any dares or forfeits?
